| About: Leechburg Cemetery is a very interesting place to visit. A majority of the graves are older, and I am not sure if they still bury people there. The latest grave that I found was buried in 1972. David Leech, the founder of Leechburg, is also buried there, represented by a almost completly worn down flat tombstone that is supported by 6 columns. Much of his family surrounds him. He founded Leechburg in 1850. Lots of the graves are from the 1800's. The grave pictured is 1806 - 1865 and 1815 - 1892. The name on it is William R. and Isabella Garver. |
