Leechburg Elks Receives Hoop Shoot Award From State Association

Leechburg Elks recently was awarded a plaque by the PA Elks State Association for sponsoring the top 12 -13 year old girl shooter in the PA State Hoop Shoot Competition. Christina Grzybek of Gibsonia placed first in the state competition in State College, Pa. by making 21 out of 25 free throws. The Lodge holds its Hoop Shoot at Leechburg High School Gym each year, under the direction of Hoop Shoot Coordinator, Dale Frederick of North Vandergrift.
